GSW do this to get off Wiggins contract. Bruce Brown just has 1 year left - assuming option is picked up for the sake of this trade. They gain flexibility and tax savings for future at the cost of a protected FRP.

Toronto does this if they think that Wiggins can have a resurrection. They can use his defense and finishing - like an OG light. They gain another FRP for next year to add to their assets.
