I decided to rework my board based on a few principles. The top 16 players are all 2+ translatable skill guys. They have 2 skills that they will be able to use at the next level. The other qualifications to be in the group include the ability to shoot free throws, have enough size/athleticism to defend a position and rebound without being a liability, and enough traits and intangibles to be a long-time NBA starter.

From #17 to #31 are the guys that have the upside to become starter but have not qualified in one of the above criteria. These are the project players. They either have developed only one skill, like Josh Giddey and Sharife Cooper, or they don't have any and have such high potential that if they can develop 2+ in the NBA they can be really good. Those are guys like Kuminga, Keon Johnson, Kai Jones, and Ziaire Williams.

From #32 to #50 are the players who I do not ever see being a starter on a good team but can be good bench players if they work on a few things.

Remember this is all based on ceiling and how these guys project to the next level. My top 16 are the guys I feel can be starters on a playoff team in year 1 or year 2. The next tier are the riskier picks that I could see going either way. I have those guys ranked based on how I feel about there potential. There are many tier 2 guys that have higher ceiling than my tier one guys but I do not rank my board based on ceiling alone. It is a factor but I want to see translatable, tangible skills for me to be comfortable taking a guy in the lottery.
