For Celtics- Rob Will III wants to be in Boston so he gets sent back into their open cap space for the 30th pick next year and a future swap. It improves Bostons defense and gives them their player back.
For Magic- Magic need shooting and leadership but Klay Thompson is not the answer. Magic decline Joe Ingles $11M team option and give Fultz a new contract and give up about the 20th pick in next years draft, a future swap, and a future 2nd. Low price to pay for somebody who would benefit this young team a lotttt.
For Portland- They now have cap space to sign Nic Claxton which would be a bit awakward with Austin down low too. But they could sometimes even play side by side at the 4 and 5 and could alternate at the 5. Brogdon and Williams are bound to be traded and getting 1st rounders in return for them is a great deal.
