With Julius Randle out for a minimum of three weeks and possibly the entire season, New York moves fast and flips him and Fournier for Jerami Grant and Malcolm Brogdon while needing to include two first round picks. This move makes the Knicks more competitive now and into the future. This also keeps them in the mix for superstar hunting as Grant can be used as a major trade piece moving forward. Portland gets to add two picks to their arsenal while taking their time to rehab Randle who can actually have value next year if he is able to get back to form.
