Everyone gets what they want!

Portland gets two firsts, two pick swaps, and LaVine, who they can flip in a year or two as Portland will need to pay salary and have time to start being good. LaVine is not a great fit as we try and get our young guards some playing time, but it does open up the opportunity for PDX to flip Simons for even more assets if they wanted to.

Bulls get off of LaVine, save millions in salary, and get two rotation players in Grimes and Grant that they can use now or flip later. Grant is good backup insurance in case the Bulls do not sign Pat Williams, or now they have enough salary to sign Pat Williams to a long term deal.
