Nuggets- Simply put, the nuggets are failing jokic. With MPJ done for the season and Murray out for a while, monte and Jokic are their only real offensive weapons/initiators. Adding schroder to tide them over until they can recover their health while keeping jokic's spirits up in the meantime would be a great move and if it only cost zeke and green, one they should absolutely do.

Spurs- The spurs are primed for a rebuild with great young pieces in keldon, primo, Vassell, etc., a lot of draft picks, and good veterans on reasonable contracts who can be moved before the deadline. Dejounte has been great this year but as a guy in his mid-20s, doesn't fit the spurs timetable. Getting back two good young players and firsts is totally fair value and helps give a larger role to primo and keldon who would both greatly benefit from in-game reps. Nesmith complements any team as a spot-up shooter and would pair very nicely with keldon and Vassell as a young wing core for the future. Nnaji is a very talented modern big whose defensive shortcomings will be covered by the prowess of poeltl, primo, Vassell, and white for the short term.

Celtics- The Celtics benefit from this deal greatly, getting off some wasted salary while taking on elite veteran experience. Dejounte fits their timeline as a young player who is old enough to have been part of a winning culture and had a proper offensive role to know how to handle high usage workloads. In Boston, he would be in the perfect situation to succeed. He can excel on defense without having to be heavily relied upon thanks to the Celtics elite defensive schemes and personnel. He would also be free to operate in the mid-range with the Celtics' aggressive use of high screens, elbow playmaking, and DHOs. His rim pressure and improved passing ability would help ease the loss of Schroder in this deal, and all of that is not to mention his fantastic slashing/cutting ability and the fact that he is on one of the best contracts in the league. Having a core of dejounte, smart, brown, Tatum, Williams, grant, Romeo, and Pritchard for years to come is a great starting point for a team looking for their 18th title.
