Rockets: Houston are looking to make some moves with a big offseason acquiring Fred VanVleet and Dillion Brooks in FA. They are just missing that star level player factor that Mikal can bring on this rockets team. He will be able to add some scoring knocking down threes and hitting some tough jumpers. Most importantly though he is a fantastic defender with a huge wingspan covering huge areas of the court. Houston are lacking in defence with only Brooks so Mikal being able to help with that area can help take some pressure off of Brooks guarding the teams opposition player.

Nets: Brooklyn are worse than expected. Obviously they were looking to rebuild by parting ways with their big 3 but a massive problem is they don't even own their pick this year which means all of this losing is going to waste. Speaking about going to waste Mikal's talent is being wasted on a team looking to build with their young players in Thomas and hopefully Clayton if he decides to stay. Getting a young player in Green is an underrated pickup, although he isn't living up to his expectations to call him a total bust is kinda crazy. He still offers solid offensive game being able to attack the rim and when he gets going knock down some nice shots. On top of this they get a backup centre and two salary fillers whose contracts can be used for cap space in the future. Finishing this they get their own FRP which means that all the losing will amount to something hopefully getting them so nice young pieces going forward.
