Trade:

Warriors: Evan Fournier, Robert Covington, 4 srps

Philiy: GP2

Knicks: Malcolm Brogdon

Blazers: Andrew Wiggins, 2025 MIL lotto protected frp

Warriors:

There is a huge problem rn and it's too many guys demanding mins. Kuminga does, Moody does, Wiggins clearly needs it, GP2 will do the same when he comes back. There's just no room for all of them to stay and battle for mins, therefore, just to keep the youth which does fit with the main guys, i decide that Wiggins and GP2 are the 2 who's getting traded

Here we will get back Covington, who i love as he can comfortably play 3 or 4, sometimes even 5, there's versatility on where he plays and it's alrdy way better to hv such guys where we can freely play. He provides experienced defense and can shoot the ball as well

You may think why do i want Evan Fournier? isnt Warriors buying? well same problem, it's too many guys demanding mins now, we need to trim the amount of rotation guys so i'll rather take a downgrade of player here. Ay if Kerr found out how to use Fournier probably, he might be a piece for the Playoffs too. We're getting him at his lowest value, expiring, and a chance to turn him back to sth valuable

Another question asked is why are we just getting srps back for way better players? This is a realistic trade so i think of it financially, we will be saving around 93M in the upcoming 3 years. Dont treat this as a small amount, therefore i rlly dont think we can get a frp for downgrading our players

Last question is on why dont we trade CP3 instead of Wiggs. i can explain that in 2 points, financially and team fit. First financially, even if we end this season without success, CP3 is still expiring and we can save some cap, while Wiggins is still on a 3 year deal with salary increase. If Wiggs now is coming off the bench with Kuminga starting, i rlly dont wanna see us payin bench players 25M-30M per year for another 4 years. GSW is still paying so so much tax, we still have to think about financial problems when doing a deal. Second is team fit. If we trade Wiggins and GP2, behind them at the 2 and 3 spot is Podz, Moody, Kuminga. There's alrdy minute replacement for them. While for CP3, he have huge importance for this team. He's still one of the best playmakers ever and in non-Dray mins, he's still needed and cannot be replaced. Therefore i think CP3 should be the one kept in the squad

I know CP3 is injured for most likely 2 months, will be huge trouble, but we just have to hope Cory and Podz to fill his PG role well and hope when CP3 came back and we can spark a run

New rotation:

PG: Steph, CP3, Cory

SG: Klay, Podz, Fournier

SF: Kuminga, Moody, Santos

PF: Dray, Covington

C: Loon, Saric, TJD

76ers:

76ers are rumoured to be searching for another 2-way player, and even when GP2 isnt the ideal player, I think it will just take their defense into another level when he returns, playing alongside Beverly and Melton.

On the forward spot there's alrdy Oubre, Batum and Morris SR, who are getting used more than Covington. It's a bit excessive to keep all of them so i think they will want to move Covington for backup in other positions

Knicks:

I do believe that Knicks are one piece away from being legit. With OG deal looking great so far i think it's time for them to trade for Brogdon to backup Brunson and play as an offball option alongside Brunson. It will be a better fit than Quickley for Brogdon, and it wont even cost much, only a Milwalkee frp which most likely will be in the 25-30 zone next year

Blazers:

They are in selling mode and they clearly have too many guards. Scoot, Sharpe, Anf. Brogdon can be traded definitely so here they will get Wiggins in return. A great defender who plays hard every game. ALthough he's struggling this season, you have seen if he found his form he can be very very impactful. Golden State will not have the chip without him.

it might seem like a steal for them to also land a frp, but again, financially, they will be taking in approximately 60M extra in the next 3 years. And if they cant get a frp here i think there's definitely chance that they just do another deal for Brogdon. They will need the frp to be theirs to do this deal

Next season though it will look real solid. ANF, Scoot, Sharpe, Wiggs, Thybulle, Grant, Ayton, Rob Will and ofc, Duop Reath.

Sharpe doesnt need an extension for another 2 years, Scoot 3, ANF 3. By the time they face increase wage payment most of the big contracts they have now is alrdy expiring, so there shouldnt be a huge financial problem there
