Why Orlando Does It: The Magic need someone other than Gary Harris, who can really space the floor at an elite level. They currently rank 24th in the league in 3PM & 22nd in 3P%. Enter Doug McDermott who since the 19/20 season is shooting close to 42% from beyond the arc on just about 5 attempts per game. He is automatic perimeter shooter, and inserting him on this team will open up the floor and make life a lot easier for Orlando's two building blocks, Paolo & Franz.

Magic 10-Man Rotation:

M. Fultz - G. Harris - F. Wagner - P. Banchero - W. Carter Jr

C. Anthony - J. Suggs - D. McDermott - J. Isaac - M. Wagner

Why San Antonio Does: The Spurs just need to be looking at things, 1. Acquire draft capital & 2. Acquire young talent with potential. They would accomplish both of that by making this trade. The main piece here is Mo Bamba, who I get his value is very low rn but this is the kind of young, buy-low talent that the Spurs should be looking at to try to see if the coaching staff can develop him into becoming an NBA caliber player. There also might not be a better organization for a young player who's trying to jumpstart back his career than here on the Spurs. This also would be insurance, if the inevitable Jakob Poeltl trade occurs.

Spurs 10-Man Rotation:

T. Jones - D. Vassell - K. Johnson - J. Sochan - J. Poeltl

J. Richardson - M. Branham - R. Langford - Z. Collins - M. Bamba
