SUCCESS

MEM

Memphis acquires Bradley Beal in a blockbuster trade for Dillon Brooks, Grayson Allen, Justise Winslow, Desmond Bane, and 4 first-rounders. The Grizzlies do this to form a big 3 and assemble a ready-made playoff roster that will immediately compete in Memphis, even if the cost for Beal is too high, as they already got off to a great start to the season with Ja Morant leading the way. Now, however, Memphis goes full win-now mode, and once Jaren Jackson Jr. returns to the court, they will be ready for a great playoff run to motivate the entire fanbase and city of Memphis with Morant leading the way, and Beal as a fantastic second option with JJJ as the third option. The Grizzlies officially become a respectable and feared team in the West from this point forward and acquire a true star and as mentioned, form a big 3 in Memphis:

Morant - Beal - Anderson - JJJ - Valanciunas

WAS

Washington acquires Justise Winslow to be their main defensive forward after Rui Hachimura for the future. Deni Avdija is someone versatile to play SG, SF, or PF due to his ball-handling and playmaking skills, so Winslow is arguably needed additionally in Washington after Hachimura, next to Deni who is not a good defender. Nonetheless, Washington receives excellent shooting guard depth in this trade, with starter Dillon Brooks next to Avdija in a temporary sense, with youngsters Grayson Allen and Desmond Bane with great potential waiting in the wings, whom Washington should develop. They receive 4 players all 25 or younger, which suits this rebuilding Wizards roster, whose future looks bleak beyond Avdija and Hachimura. Long-term, they now are set as Winslow and Brooks are good defenders, and Allen and Bane should be good SGs in the future. Wizards go young. This is an excellent package, along with 4 firsts for Beal, to move forward.

Memphis forms a big 3 whereas Washington acquires long-term, young assets all under 26 for Beal to rebuild.

Is this a good trade?
