KNICKS

After the trade with Toronto, their 6th man spot has been vacant. This trade sees an affordable replacement for Quickley's bench scoring without breaking the bank. The Knicks have three first round picks this year, so the draft capital they give up won't be missed. Additionally, they get off the Fournier contract, while trading Grimes, who's been in trade rumours for months. This trade makes a lot of sense, and would make their playoff rotation very strong.

BLAZERS

Malcolm Brogdon will not be a part of the Blazer's future. This trade gives them a first round pick, and a young player for a player that comes off their bench. Brogdon's great play has increased his value, and it would be beneficial to sell high. If they wait until the offseason, his value will decrease due to him being on the last year of his deal. This trade would allow them to cash in, and get good value for a player that they don't need.
