With this trade I have okc and ATL solving both of there major problems.

First the thunders problem Trash Giddy Basically the only thing Josh Giddy can do at an average to good level consistently is pass. He’s not a good rebounder, he can’t defend, he is a god awful three point shooter . In three seasons in the league he has an average three point percentage of .310 so 31% percent from three. Replacing Josh giddy with Dejountae Murray would be amazing for the thunder. Though Murray’s defense has dropped this season he’s still a way better defender than giddy. Though Murray isn’t that great of a three point shooter only having a career average of 34% from three, he still is able to score in other ways having a 51.8% from the mid range.

For the hawks they finally decide that enough is enough with the dejountae Murray experiment and to cut their loses now like all NBA fans want them to do. Though there are some hawks fans that believe that Murray nor Trae are the problem and need to keep giving a try but at this point I think all NBA fans can see that keeping them together is just going to lead to 8th seeds and playoff losses no mater what they do to the lineups and rotations. One or maybe even both have to go in order for the hawks to have a TRUE place in championship contention being a top team in the east in REAL LIFE not in 2k.
