Warriors- Golden State needs to do something to salvage the rest of Curry’s career so they swing for the fences. Lavine is a questionable fit but he’s an all star level player and the Warriors need something to help them. They offload an underachieving Looney and an injured CP3. Trading Moody hurts but it’s necessary and he wasn’t playing much anyway.

Bulls- Chicago needs to rebuild and this nets them young prospects and picks. Moody is a great young prospect and so is Andre Jackson. They land multiple seconds and two firsts. Chicago isn’t going to contend with Lavine, Derozan, and Vucevic as the core so this starts the necessary process. They can continue to offload Derozan and Vucevic. They get expiring contracts as well to free up cap space in case they want to spend on some free agents, or take on other contracts during the draft to net more picks.

Bucks- Milwaukee needs more perimeter defense badly so they land an all defensive level PG in Caruso. He also provides ball handling and the get him for relatively cheap. Andre Jackson is a loss but is necessary to land Caruso.

Thunder- OKC needs rebounding above anything else and Looney can do that. He’s been disappointing this year but they get him for cheap and he provides valuable playoff experience.

Sixers- Philadelphia has been looking for a point guard to ease the ball handling burden off Maxey and provide passing and CP3 does both. He’d be a perfect pick and roll partner with Embiid and could help give Maxey more off the ball opportunities. He provides valuable experience and is also chasing his first ever ring, which will benefit this Sixers team who have many players doing the same.
