I decided to challenge myself and look for a mutually beneficial trade scenario for Kevin Love. Feedback would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I imagine the Knicks using Love as a rotational center who can space the floor.(According to Bleacher Report, that is a need they should to address (https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2947140-every-nba-teams-biggest-problem-after-free-agency-madness.amp.html)) Center is a deep position for them. So, if Love is hurt, there will be enough depth to make up for his absence. Also, the Knicks' defense should be enough to cover Love's poor defense, and his offense would be beneficial for them when he plays. Plus, they would get a chance for a good 2023 1st. They only have to give up Knox to achieve this.

The Cavs would get a young wing who can shoot in Knox. However, they could possibly have to give up a 1st with Love to make up for his bad contract. So, they would be looking for something to make up for their lost 1st. That is where the Thunder come it.

As you know the Thunder have a lot of picks, especially in 2023. If the Cavs trade several 2nds for a late 1st. Then the Thunder would be able to trade those 2nds for another late 1st in the 2023 draft.

The Cavs would then have some insurance in case they lose their 2023 1st. Plus, if they land top in the tiop 5 in the 2023 draft, they would then have 2 1sts. So, it would be a gamble for them.

I know this is not the best trade, but it is just a scenario I think might work. What are your thoughts?
