Please remember all REALISTIC trades require give and take, so yes you may get worse at one position to get better at another. Thats the whole idea of a trade. I see a lot of people who hate on trades are the same ones who propose anthony black for darius garland trades, or buddy hield for Jerami grant. Sorry i dont create ridiculous unfair trades.

Logic for each team:

Jazz: 5 picks, 4 unprotected firsts and 1 second round pick, D lo can be flipped as an expiring next year, jazz are not a contender in any form, the players are just to match salary and possibly be flipped for more assets.

Grizzlies: Kennard has been injured and even when he plays he hasnt been helping winning much, yes you lose defense with smart but his fit on the grizzlies hasnt been great, the idea is the grizzlies just lean into offense, Lauri and clarkson make up for loss of kennard shooting, add more size with Lauri to help with lack of center by having bigger forwards with Lauri and JJJ, Plumlee is on a one year deal to fill the hole with Clarke and Adams out, let him walk in the offseason and save cap while getting adams and clarke back.

Bucks: You have no assets, in order to make any trade you have to give up something of value, you are trading interior defense for perimeter defense, Biyombo isnt elite but he is above average as a defensive center, the idea is Giannis can help make up for rim protection, Olynyk helps bucks keep stretch big element, Yes lopez is a DPOY but so is smart, he was DPOY the year before, and is only one of 4 perimeter player to ever win DPOY and hes younger than lopez. You guys arent getting Caruso, you have no assets, right now he is worth 2 firsts, every team in the league wants him look it up.

Lakers: Kennard has led the league in 3pt shooting percentage, great fit with lebron, Lakers get dominated when AD misses games, Lopez adds rim protection if AD is out, if AD is healthy he allows AD to play power forward again since he can stretch the floor (same reason he fits with Giannis) D ham coached him in Mil, knows how to use him. AD prefers to play power forward so he can roam anyway. Rui barely plays, trading him frees minutes for reddish and max christie and vando to play, Reaves and D lo cant play together, Now reaves can be a starter again, D lo becomes unplayable in the playoffs anyway, Lebron and reaves are playmakers when they have to bench D lo anyway.

Clippers: PJ tucker wants out, plumlee and theis are too good to be third string centers, Clippers only weakness is size, this trade helps correct that. Lopez is the emergency 3rd string center if Zu or theis gets injured.
