FOR PORTLAND, Portland gets a very young wing who’s already a very promising defender with good athleticism and a developing 3-pointer. The Blazers need somebody like this badly and I feel like Bilal is possibly the best young prospect for this (Avdija too). They also get Denver’s first from next year which will probably be mid 20s. All this for Anfernee Simons and who knows maybe now the Blazers keep Brogdon for depth and veteran help and they have the flexibility to take another guard/hybrid wing in the draft.

FOR MAGIC, the Magic just had a very close and promising 1st round but their biggest weakness, shooting, showed like crazy. They’re still very young so going and getting a player with 6 years experience but still young should be a no brainer. I keep seeing people say he’s just a shot chucked but how is that true at all? He shoots about 40% from 3 and can you name many 25 year olds who can score on his level? Yes he lacks defense but on a team with good defenders that won’t be a problem. The price is a little steep but all they’re giving up is a raw player and the 25th pick next year (not even theirs)

FOR WIZARDS, Washington doesn’t really have any reason to move on from Bilal to be honest but they’re a rebuilding franchise who has needed a lead guard for quite some time now especially since Tyus Jones will leave. Anthony Black can be exactly that and they already have a young wing in Deni Avdija, they have Kuzma, and even Jordan Poole. Anthony Black just sorta does everything and can move around on the court as he’s a big player. They missed on him by a couple picks last year so they would probably be intrigued to take him and 2 2nds as well.
