Why The Hawks Do It:

The Hawks front office and John Collins failed to come to an agreement for a rookie contract extension. I think that they should trade him so they dont have to pay him the BAG in the offseason, or they dont lose him for absolutley nothing. with this trade they get back a 3-D guard who can provide ELITE defensive presence next to a liability on defense in Trae Young. They also get back a young 4 who can develop with players such as Cam Reddish, and Double-O.

Lineup: Trae - Smart/ Huerter - Hunter/ Reddish - Gallanari - Capela

Why The Pelicans Do It:

The Pelicans are looking to trade players like, Lonzo ball, JJ Redick, and Eric Bledsoe. with this trade they get all 3 of them gone and replace them with a superior guard in Kemba Walker. This allows them to let their young guards such as Kira Lewis Jr. and N.A.W get more PT and develop more. They also get back a role player in Semi Ojeleye and a lottery protected 1st which i predict will be in the 24 - 29 range.

Lineup: Kemba - Hart - Ingram - Zion - Adams

Why The Celtics do it:

With this trade, The Celtics form a new big 3 and completely change their supporting cast. They get: Lonzo Ball who can be the primary ball handler. Eric Bledsoe who can provide defense off the bench. JJ Redick who provides 3 and 3. Tony Snell who provides more bench defense. and John Collins, a complementary borderline Star to Jaylen brown and Jayson Tatum. They give up Kemba who hasn't been Kemba, Grant Williams, Marcus Smart who essentially gets replaced, 2 firsts, and a couple seconds.
