Spurs: This gets Wemby a points guard to aid his development until the Spurs find their point guard of their future in a draft. This move has no risks, and gives D'Angelo Russell potential to shine in a low-pressure environment.

Lakers: Russell just does not seem like the solution at PG for the Lakers, they need someone better defensively and more consistent/reliable. Dejounte has been able to be a positive defender at the 1, so he should be able to continue that.

Hawks: They get what they want in a trade for Dejounte Murray. Future cap relief, a future Lakers first round pick, and multiple seconds round picks that have some value (nobody knows what might happen to LAC next year).
