Trade Breakdown

GSW: Jerami Grant, Malcolm Brogdon

POR: Andrew Wiggins, Chris Paul, 2026 GSW FRP, 2028 GSW FRP, 2026 ATL SRP

Blazers: Grant and Brogdon have been great for the Blazers this season, but are not a part of the long-term future. Maximizing the return for the two of them would help improve the future of the team. The two GSW FRPs have high potential and Wiggins can be a good starting SF for them until they draft someone (if he returns to how he was playing before this season). This move has almost no risk for Portland. They might fall to 15th in the West after this move, especially if San Antonio gets Victor Wembanyama a good PG. But, that's fine, they need to display the flashes of talent at the moment, not win just yet. Tanking and getting a good 3/4 in the draft should be the Blazers goal for the next two seasons, maybe even targeting a 5 in the draft if Ayton's play gets really bad.

Warriors: This is a very, very risky move for the Warriors, but it is what they need to do to give themselves a potentially final chance at making a deep playoff run with Stephen Curry. The biggest risk here is giving up the 2026 & 2028 FRPs. Curry will be 37 and 39 years old in those respective seasons, so the Warriors might not be in a great position in those years. However, this deal gives the Warriors and immediately better chance of becoming a contender without having to give up any of the key players of their dynasty or any of their 4 key young players for the future (Moses Moody, Jonathon Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski, and Trayce Jackson-Davis). This allows Golden State to stick with the two-timeline project. Most Warriors fans would probably not want to make this move. However, I believe that this move is the best possible consolidation of assets for becoming a competitive team in the present and future. While this move has a lot of risks tied with it, I believe that the dividends will pay off.

Blazers Rotation

Scoot Henderson - Anfernee Simons - Shaedon Sharpe - Andrew Wiggins - Deandre Ayton

Chris Paul - Matisse Thybulle - Toumani Camara - Jabari Walker - Duop Reath

Warriors Rotation

Malcolm Brogdon - Stephen Curry - Klay Thompson - Jerami Grant - Kevon Looney

Brandin Podziemski - Moses Moody - Gary Payton - Jonathon Kuminga - Trayce Jackson-Davis / Dario Saric

Note: This rotation needs a lot of work, this is just a draft of what it might look like.
