Mavs: Pascal Siakam, swap worst

West is super competitive. Mavs is currently only 6th seed in the West. To take their team into another level, here they add in another all rounded forward Pascal Siakam to be their new PF. Siakam provides defense, shooting, and not every forward have: passing. He's averaging 5 APG this season and for a team which is ranked bottom 10 in assists, Addition of Siakam will help a lot

A 4 for 1 deal seems hurting Mavs depth a lot, but taking a look at their depth chart:

PG: Luka, Seth

SG: Kyrie, Hardy

SF: DJJ, Hardaway, Exum

PF: Siakam, Kleber

C: Lively, Powell

There's a solid 11 man for the Mavs to use for the rest of the season + playoffs, so depth should not be too big of a concern

You might think this is an underpay for the Mavs, but same as Kyrie deal last year, 1 year expiring, only went for Dinwiddie DFS and 2 frps. Siakam's value no doubt is not as high as Kyrie, so for them to receive Grant Williams, Josh Green and 1 frp in return, do think its reasonable value. Mavs wont pay too much as there's always chance Siakam leaves in FA, but do think he will extend his contract just due to the fact how gd a fit he is in Dallas

Raptors:

Reports are alrdy reporting Raptors and Siakam is on the verge of parting ways, so we should be expecting a Siakam trade to come very soon.

Raptors looking like they will be asking for more quality players than more picks, for example they demand Mathurin or Jarace in a Pacers deal for Siakam. Some teams do have young talents that might be available, but just not that promising of a young talent. I'll also speak for my Warriors, as long as Green's here we will not get Pascal Siakam, there's just not a world that these 2 are fitting. Also Moses Moody and JK will not be available in any Siakam talk, especially JK

I think Mavs will have the most intriguing package out of everyone just purely due to amount of quality players they can offer. Grant Williams, great fit beside Scottie, good shooter who can play the 4, with good defense. Josh Green, another wing 3&D who might still hv the chance to improve with more touches. Holmes, which fills a C need for the Raptors for now, and OMax, great defender at such a young age. Developing him he might form a scary defensive duo with Scottie. Holmes and OMax isnt much player value but Josh Green and Grant Williams definitely is, with how good they fit in, I think the Raptors will like that so much, long term piece for them

With moving Siakam, new team looks still solid, the hot offensive streak fs will end, but this will still be a very good defensive squad, with shooting surrounding their future: Scottie Barnes
