  • Lottery Protected From 2023 - 2025 (If it doesn't convey by then, it becomes two future 2nd's)

Hornets: If the season ended today the Hornets would be in the playoffs as a 6th seed. They're probably only going to better as LaMelo gains more experience in the league, MJ and Mitch could see that lottery protected 1st in 2023 as expendable. Horford is still a very productive player in this league and he gives the Hornets a quality veteran center who could play off of LaMelo very well. Since Charlotte will have just a little over $30M in cap space available in the summer, they can just outright take on Horford's salary and not give any salary back to OKC. If this ownership wants an expensive roster, they can theoretically go over the cap to bring back Graham & Monk (Both are RFA's).

Starting 5: LaMelo-Rozier-Hayward-Washington-Horford

Bench 5: *Graham-*Monk-Bridges-Washington-(20211st Round Pick)

OKC: The sole purpose of this trade would be to clear up even more cap space for the summer (Close to $90M in cap space if this trade is made) & Get more future draft assets for Sam Presti to add to his collection. In overall getting two future 1st's for Al Horford (Got a Top-6 Protected 1st last summer for taking Horford from the 76ers) would just be another Sam Presti masterpiece.

Starting 5: Maledon-SGA-Dort-Poku-Moses

Bench 5: Jerome-*Svi-Kenrich-Bazley-Roby
