Sixers- Hield is one of the best three point shooters in the league and he adds a great dynamic to this Sixers team. Adding him gives them another guard in their backcourt who can pair with Maxey to provide a lethal shooting duo. Making this move seems like Embiid will be back by the playoffs considering they give up draft capital. Hield also gives Embiid another shooter to kick it to when he’s double teamed.

Pacers- Hield was getting older and didn’t fit the same timeline with some of the younger Pacers so they flip him for good draft capital. The details of the picks haven’t been released yet but either way, three seconds is good. They also get expiring contracts so they don’t lose any cap space for the summer. This allows them to resign Siakam for more while still having cap space and draft capital to make moves to push for contention next year.
