Although many people are talking about CP3 going to the bucks or 76ers, I think the Mavericks will be the perfect option for this squad.

With Chris Paul on the Mavericks, they will be able to move Luka to the two-guard and develop one of the best backcourts in the league. Paul will be able to mentor Luka and show him what he can get away with and how to read defenses, obviously, Luka doesn't need much with how he has been playing. The Mavericks said they are in need of tough players and although CP3 probably wasn't the first player to come into mind, he is scrappy and someone who won't back down.

I don't believe the Thunder will get a star player in return for Paul however I think a first-round pick will be necessary in any trade. The Thunder don't get any star players in return but they get valuable depth and youth that can help their rebuild.
