The Timberwolves get off of KAT’s contract and get a nice young player in GG Jackson as well as Brandon Clarke who could provide some much needed depth and great defense off the bench. I also think it’s cool that they get D Rose back because they don’t really have a backup point guard and Rose has had success with them in the past and he still hasn’t gotten his ring. Luke Kennard would bring some much needed spacing, having someone who can shoot like Kennard is always a good thing for playoff teams.

The Grizzlies could use more floor spacing and I know it sounds contradictory to say that and then send away Luke Kennard but Kennard isn’t a starter and doesn’t get to see the floor that often. KAT would be able to provide a lot more than just spacing. The Grizzlies imo really need a center to pair with JJJ.
