Why I think this trade is good for both teams:

Raptors: It's no secret that the Raptors are in rebuild mode. The Raptors acquire more draft capital by getting 4 second-round picks for a decent but aging role player in Boucher and McDaniels, who is currently out of the rotation and has been made available by the Raptors according to a variety of sources. They also free up 6 million in cap space and get two young players in Metu and Little.

Suns: According to sources, the Suns are in the market for an athletic wing. The tricky part in acquiring one for Phoenix is that the Suns would most likely have to trade Grayson Allen in most cases to get one and the probability of getting a defensive wing that provides more value than what Grayson Allen offers offensively is extremely unlikely. They also lack bench depth as they only have 6 players as of now that they can trust in their rotation come playoff time, so trading one role player for another doesn't solve that problem for the Suns. This trade allows them to take a gamble on two players who can potentially fill out the last spots in their rotation without giving up any of the 6 guys that Vogel currently trusts in his rotation. Completing this trade would require Phoenix to trade its remaining draft capital but it is well worth the risk in my opinion.
