Key free agents: Simone Fontecchio

Estimated Cap Space: $65 million

• Resign Simone Fontecchio to a 3 year $40 mill contract starting around $12 mill fully guaranteed

• Sign Miles Bridges to a 4 year contract $90 mill starting around $24 mill with the final year only 50% guaranteed

• Sign Jalen Smith to a 3 year $36 mill contract at $12 mill per year fully guaranteed with the final year a team option

• Sign Doug McDermott to a 2 year $14 mill contract at $7 mill per year with the 2nd year being a team option

• Sign Emoni Bates to a 2 year $8 mill contract at $4 mill per year with the 2nd year being a team option

• Trade Beef Stew and a 2nd for Hunter

This leaves about 6 mill in cap space that will likely be used via trade during the season.

Notes:

• I'm not sure of the financial rules behind giving Bates a bigger contract

• Bridges' contract reduces 1 mill per year

• Fontecchio's contract increases by 1.5 mill per year

• I used a 10 mill cap hold for their pick

• They'd have plenty of space to add more young guys to their roster for summer league and decide who to keep later
