Trade 1: Jamal Murray, Will Barton, and Vlatko Cancar for Malcolm Brogdon, Caris LeVert, and Justin Holiday
The Pacers trade for a star to help them chase that 8th seed. He's also freshly off his rookie contract, so the youth is nice. Should be a great fit with Domantas Sabonis. Meanwhile, I love Brogdon's fit with Jokic, and I think LeVert is a great 3rd/4th option for this team.
Trade 2: Justin Holiday, JaMychal Green, and Bol Bol for Eric Gordon
The Nuggets get a great scorer off the bench. They only give up 3 pieces who would barely make their rotation. The Rockets get Bol Bol, whose ceiling is pretty high. They also get 2 solid veterans who they can flip elsewhere for draft capital or younger players.
Signings:
Reggie Bullock (2/$9M). Bullock is a good defensive bench pieceand can do an okay job scoring the basketball.
JaVale McGOAT (1/$4.25M). JaVale is one of the better backup centers in the NBA and Denver should certainly bring him back.
Paul Millsap (1/$5.5M). Next season might be Millsap's last (he's 36) but he's still a damn good backup PF. Overpaying him for the year is a good tribute move, but he'll also do a solid job with his 12 or so minutes per game off the bench.
New Rotation:
Malcolm Brogdon // Monte Morris // Facundo Campazzo
Caris LeVert // Eric Gordon
Michael Porter Jr. // Reggie Bullock // PJ Dozier
Aaron Gordon // Paul Millsap
Nikola Jokic // JaVale McGOAT // Zeke Nnaji
