So to start, no this isn’t realistic. I think LA obviously says no here, but let’s just pretend they don’t. For LA, Beal has been linked to them for years. If they make this move, they finally get him and they don’t have to trade away future picks to do it. Even after LeBron is gone, their future is secure. If they stink when LeBron retires, they can trade AD for assets and ride out Beal’s awful contract.

For the Wolves, Towns is rumored to be out this offseason. In trading him for KD, they get a guy who fits better both in the offensive and defensive along side Gobert and Ant. On top of that, Ant gets to play with his idol. This would be an exciting move for the Wolves.

Lastly, let’s discuss Phoenix. D-Lo, KAT and Book have always been extremely close friends and would likely love an opportunity to play together. In addition to that, they would be building a much more cohesive roster with a true PG and better roster depth. Nurkic would likely get moved shortly after this deal, which could land the Suns a pick or two. Alternatively, they can keep him around and try keeping KAT at PF. Either way, I’m sure Suns fans would be happy to see Beal and KD gone, especially if they were landing two of Booker’s closest friends in the league.

Again, I know LA probably says no here, but maybe they can talk themselves into this just like they did with Westbrook. Getting off D-Lo wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world and keeping their picks would be great. Who knows? Let me know your thoughts down below.
