LA: The lakers offence sucks. It's as simple as that with the team struggling since winning the tournament fighting for a spot inside the play in. They need to gain more scorers inside their starting lineup because LeBron and AD isn't enough. Bogdanovic is perfect having one of his best seasons shooting incredible from the field and putting up 30+ point games in hawks losses. Bogdanovic will add an offensive threat in their lineup and will uplift this team through the rest of the season.

Hawks: Atlanta has been horrible even with Trae Young playing like a top 10 player in the league. With Murray most likely out the door they look to not rebuild but restructure their roster around young which can start with this trade. For Bogdanovic they get Hachimura currently moving into his prime years still with many more seasons left to go, he adds great wing defence able to work well with Young and his playmaking. They also get a young player in Hayes who can develop into a very good backup centre behind Okongwu if they end up trading Capela. Lastly they gain a SRP as future draft capital to build around Young.
