Why Orlando Does It:

This would be a win now move from Jeff Weltman, John Hammond and that entire Magic front office. Getting imo the best high end role player in the league, who's an elite defensive wing that can guard 1-5 and space the floor would be a godsend on this team. Also would give that team an absolutely scary wing duo with Mikal & Franz. He's on a really team friendly contract and is still young enough at 26 to fit on the timeline of this young core of Paolo, Franz, WCJ & Fultz. Losing Suggs would be tough considering he's already a really good POA defender, but to get something good you have to give up something good.

Why Brooklyn Does It:

I'll be the first one to say that Brooklyn should keep Mikal and build around that core of Mikal, Cam & Claxton. However that won't be the case in that trade as they trade him for a couple of first rounders and some talented young players. With how up and down this season has been for the Bulls, I fully expect that pick to be a lottery pick this season (Remember it's top-4 protected). There's also an uprotected 1st in 2025 via ORL that would be going the Nets way. The main name going to BKN would be Suggs, and they would be getting an already elite guard defender who's still just 21. Houston has the potential to be a good 3&D wing in this league. Bamba is a player that just never meshed on Orlando, but this would be a perfect opportunity for him to restart and become a different player.
