Brooklyn adds a young rim protector in Turner who has the capabilities to not only improve and anchor their defense, but also can provide great spacing for Harden and Durant. Brogdon fills in Kyrie’s role as the team’s starting PG. Brogdon is a step down from Kyrie from an offensive standpoint, but being able to average an efficient 22pts & 7ast is nothing to scoff at. Brogdon is an improvement on the defensive end, which the Nets desperately need considering they are currently sporting the fourth worst defensive rating in the league. Holiday just gives Brooklyn some much needed depth.

Indiana adds an All-NBA point guard to massively improve their offense. Irving and Sabonis would form one of the better All-Star duos in the east. Adding Kyrie does not make Indiana champion contenders by any means, but they weren’t that before. Kyrie definitely adds more excitement and makes Indiana better and better suited to become a contender if Sabonis develops as they hope.
