At this point, it can't hurt... right? A Dlo reunion has been in the rumours for around six weeks now. As the nets aren't contenders, they see a trade like this as a CP3 to the Thunder situation. They allow him to rejuvenate his value, so they can trade him for more in the offseason. Finney-Smith is a 30 year old forward in an already forward-heavy lineup, and a player of Dlo's caliber should be enough to tempt Brooklyn into moving on from him.
