Nets: The Brooklyn Nets really want to move up and although the Lakers pick isnt in the lottery its still a great pick. They give up their 22nd pick and get a 2nd round pick along with the 17th pick. Royce O'Neale has been in trade rumors and giving up a vet like him for that 1st is a decent move.

Lakers: Adding Royce O'Neale to the team with subpar vets with Beasley and Vanderbilt gives them a bonus. Its a smart move as he is an expiring and they get a 1st from this year.
