Sixers: Bucks and Celtics are significantly above them. Maybe even the heat. Yes, they would open up 70+ mil in cap space next year, but the best free agent Pascal Siakam would be 29, expecting a massive contract and also a terrible fit next to Embiid. Blow it up this year, and the Sixers would have 2 years min to tank (own 2024 frp, top 5 protected 2025 frp ). Trade Embiid, Harden, Tobias, Melton -----> Herb Jones, Dyson Daniels, Buddy Hield, Joval and 6 frp, and 2 swaps. (also 3 second round picks). Solid young core with Maxey, Herb Jones, Daniels, Paul Reed, Springer etc. Maybe could ask for Trey Murphy and remove some of the picks from the pelicans

Pelicans: If they start the season well (which they can with Zion being healthy, they were 2nd before he got injured), then this would be a golden opportunity for them to be favorites. Starting lineup: McCollum - Ingram - Trey Murphy - Zion - Embiid (I would argue they are THE favorites coming out of the west above Nuggets, Lakers, and the suns with Embiid's defense, and the explosive firepower of Ingram and Zion combined with Embiid's gravity on offense would make them unstoppable). Bench would be a bit lackluster this season, but they would also have 3 frps next season to either draft some good role players, or trade them for good role players. Everybody would be locked up in long term contracts. Trade Daniels, Joval, Herb jones, and salary + 4 frps and 2 swaps -----> Joel Embiid

Heat: Upgrade Lowry + the contract of Duncan Robinson ----> Harden (20+10 guy, who can be their starting pg) and Melton (great 3&D guard coming of the bench) for 1 unprotected frp and 1 protected frp

Pacers: Trying to trade Buddy Field, and wanted Harris reportedly in the offseason before the bruce brown signing. Harris for Hield and salary filler + 3 second round picks
