Like my last mock trade, the Grizzlies only get LeBron if we draft Bronny. I traded future picks to the Knicks to get their number 18 overall pick to draft Bronny so no one else can get him. The Grizzlies also draft Dalton Knecht with their lottery pick to replace Luke Kennard as a good shooter. Trade Brandon Clarke for Seth Curry to free cap space and get some better shooting. Trading Smart frees cap space and also gets a backup big in Jalen Duren as well as a backup small forward in Simone Fontechio. Also, we should use our late second round pick to choose Trey Alexander from Creighton. We also lose Jordan Goodwin and Trey Jamison which is expected honestly. The biggest problem I have sorta noticed with these trades is the decrease in defensive capabilities. (I’ll make another mock trade soon that deals with the Grizzlies gaining more defensively.) There’s some picks that I traded not talked about.
