Utah has found that Donovan is best at point guard. Their biggest needs are perimeter defense and wing depth. They reportedly had a lot of interest in Tobias in the offseason before they traded for Conley.

Harris ends up being a better fit, and Thybulle gives them lockdown perimeter defense when needed.

Philly needs a shakeup, and while Tobias isn't necessarily a bad fit for them, his contract is bad and he is easier to move than Horford. Mike Conley brings proven leadership, which could be helpful with the new coach and since Joel and Ben aren't as vocal leaders. He also brings additional ball handling and shooting.

The 1st round pick is extra compensation for Thybulle, and could potentially be used as incentive for another team to to take on Horford.
