The Dallas Mavericks are obviously in trade talks with other teams about Kristaps Porzingis. Right now the Mavericks are on a six-game win streak, without KP. Historically, Porzingis has made the Mavs worse when he is on the floor. But this season, with Luka out for a big chunk of games, KP has played better than he has his entire career, and there is no way teams haven't noticed this. If we wait until the offseason, Porzings' value will either be at an all-time high, or it might be exactly the same as it is now or lower. If we wait until the offseason, Porzingis could be used in a sign-&-trade. The free agency market is very top-heavy, as there are multiple players that are known as high-quality players, and then it dips down after that. Porzingis could be used to get Irving to a place where he could play full-time. I know most will disagree with me, but those are my thoughts.
