Dallas

The Mavericks need to reshuffle their roster. They have too many guards and not enough size. So here, they send out some of those guard players to get some size. They bring back a familiar player in DFS, a guy who we know fits next to Luka, and will provide a ton of spacing, defense, and hustle to a team that needs all three. They also get Kuzma, who brings some dynamic ability to not only space the floor but be another guy who can put the ball on the court and get his own shots. Gafford would help secure the center rotation as a rim-running big with energy and rebounding.

The Wizards are moving into full blown tank mode, so getting some assets and young players with upside for a guy like Kuzma will help them set up a better future by blowing it up.

Orlando

The Magic are the worst three point shooting team in the NBA. They desperately need floor spacers and perimeter threats, especially when things slow down in the playoffs. THJ is a sniper that never passes up a shot, for better or worse. He will open up the paint for Paolo and Franz, and his defensive lapses will be much more effectively covered up by the size of Orlando. He can slot perfectly into their 6th man role.

Nets

Brooklyn has no need for 30 year old players, so they move DFS to continue to acquire assets.
