Luka, Kyrie, and Mavs should care about one thing and one thing only. Winning an NBA championship. People need to stop pretending like Luka isn’t already a top 5 player in the league who’s already made a WCF without a co star. Now he’s got one.
What really instills confidence for me in this team is their playoff performers. Luka and Kyrie are both known for elevating their play to an unstoppable level in the playoffs. But even their role players such as THJ and Seth Curry are known for elevating their play and knocking down big time shots in the playoffs.
I truly feel this team is one piece away from making another WCF or even Championship run. Grant can be that piece. He’s affordable. He is a better defender and more versatile defender than what they got. Adding even more length to this team. He also can score on his own and shoot well in great efficiency. Now imagine him as the 3rd option getting easy buckets from Luka and Kyrie. He can easily average 50/40/80.
