Thunder get a veteran big on a front-loaded contract to back up Chet who provides some size and is an overall upgrade over JWill/Biyombo.

P.S. This can be any team that needs some size who has assets (Kings, Pacers, Grizzlies, Heat, Warriors)

Wizards get some pretty good value back for Tyus who very easily could just leave in FA.

Pelicans save some cap in the short term and get a true PG who can set up the core of Zion, TM3, and Herb. In my head cannon, the Pels have already done this trade and have fully committed to surrounding Zion with complementary pieces. Assuming both deals, Pels lineup will be:

PG. Tyus Jones / CJ McCollum / Jose Alvarado

SG. Herb Jones / Jordan Hawkins / Dereon Seabron

SF. Trey Murphy III / Dyson Daniels / Matt Ryan

PF. Zion Williamson / Bobby Portis / E.J. Liddell

C. Jarrett Allen / Kal'el Ware (Pick #21) / Larry Nance Jr.

Starting lineup gets a true PG who can play off the ball and shot 40%+ from 3, while having the 11th best passer rating and the best good pass ratio per Thinking Basketball. CJ moves to the bench and becomes a 6MOY candidate with Hawkins taking over that role once CJ's contract expires or he is moved. I think CJ should stay on the team for next season since Trey is still on his rookie deal but since his extension will kick in for 2025-26, CJ will probably need to be moved at that point. Hopefully Hawkins and Dyson can develop into the backcourt of the future by then.
