This could create the perfect lineup for the Pelicans. I love CJ and Jonas, but they do not fit in this defensive scheme. The Pelicans want to play smaller ball but not be dominated at the center. They also need a real PG to play with Zion and BI. Murray is on a very affordable contract, and Onyeka will be perfect for the team. The Hawks do not want to reset, and this move allows them to get draft capital while also getting a veteran shooting guard to play with Trae Young. They will also get a young, tall PG in Dyson Daniels, an amazing defender.
