Bulls fill out starting lineup with Jerami Grant and decide that the time is now for a championship run. They are also able to retain most of their rotation. Only losing Ayo and Derrick Jones, while aslo throwing in Patrick Williams who is out for the year. This would make the Bulls instant favorites in the East along with a fully healthy Nets team, but with the east as wide open as it is the time is now to go for the chip.

Bulls lineup: Lonzo, Lavine, Derozan, Grant, Vucevic and Caruso (Sixth man).

Pistons get a return for their breakout investment with a wing in Patrick Williams who has shown promise but incurred a season-ending injury this year and Ayo Dosunmu who is a young combo guard that has shot better than expected. The loss of Jerami is addition by subtraction with the addition of Williams and Ayo but also because Saddiq has played his best basketball at the PF spot which is where Grant also plays.

Future Pistons lineup: Cade, Ayo, Williams, Bey, Stewart/Olynyk

Pistons will also most likely have a top five pick that they will be able to use to help fill their center position with guys like Chet Holmgren, Jabari Smith Jr., or Jalen Duren. Or fill their other guard spot next to Cade with a guy like AJ Griffin, Jaden Ivey, Bennedict Mathurin, or Johnny Davis.
