Obviously losing Lowry sucks but I think with everyone chasing him and his age, it might be time to move on. We get a good center (finally) as well as reuniting with one of our former players. Under nurses system I think Lonzo could develop into a very good player. With the loss of Lowry the playmaking duties would've fallen on Vanvleet, although he is a decent playmaker he isnt the greatest. This is in contrast with Zo which despite his downseason has shown playmaking vision and could be coached into being a proper point guard. With us taking their center and a young player we compensate them with boucher who fits better next to Zion than Valanciunas. I think this would be one of our best options if we were to give up lowry, and it isnt that bad of a trade for the pelicans either.
