The Brooklyn Nets are stuck in mediocrity and aren’t going anywhere. Rebuilding through the draft seems like the best idea. Here they make a ton of moves to add draft capital.

Trade 1: Mikal Bridges to Houston. The Rockets Reportedly offered the Nets all their picks and swaps back for Bridges. That seems like a great trade for both. Houston adds a great shooting guard to their elite defensive team, while the Nets get all their picks back to rebuild with. Tate could be flipped, and Landale is non-guaranteed next year.

Rockets: VanVleet, Bridges, Brooks, Smith, Sengun

Amen, Green, Justin Holiday, Jeff Green, Adams.

Trade 2: Nic Claxton and Spencer Dinwiddie to Golden State.

Nic Claxton is going to be a free agent this offseason. And the Brooklyn Nets will have to decide if they will pay him. After looking at the center market I honestly wouldn’t pay him so much. But you know who could use him? The Golden State Warriors. And a decent backup in Dinwiddie. Moody has fallen out of the rotation so giving up him and a FRP plus seconds wouldn’t be that bad. CP3 is expiring this offseason but they’ll likely waive him. GSW would improve a lot here and it gives them a better chance to keep the dynasty going.

Curry, Thompson, Kuminga, Green, Claxton

Dinwiddie, Podziemski, Wiggins, Saric, Looney

Next moves to make: Trade Gary Payton 2, And Kevon Looney for someone more impactful.

Trade 3: Dorian Finney-Smith and Royce O’Neale to Dallas.

The Dallas Mavericks need to upgrade their defense. And adding extra wings wouldn’t be bad at all. Here giving up Grant, Holmes, and Kleber plus a first and 2 seconds for DFS and Royce would help a lot. DFS used to be in Dallas and fit perfectly there, and Royce is still a very quality player. The Nets get some draft capital for these 2 guys and they’ve already made a trade with Dallas, so they won’t be afraid to make another one.

Luka, Kyrie, DJJ, DFS, Lively Exum, THJ, Green, Royce, Powell

Trade 4: Cameron Johnson and Maxi Kleber to Oklahoma City.

The Thunder are currently in contention for the first seed in the west. So why not make a move to challenge for a title? They could use shooting in the front court. Cameron Johnson would be an excellent fit in this starting lineup. Kleber also provides some insurance as a backup big who can shoot and isn’t a liability on defense. Giving up Micic, Bertans, Wiggins, Mann and 2 late firsts shouldn’t be a bad deal.

SGA, Giddey, Williams, Johnson, Chet

Wallace, Joe, Dort, Kleber, JayWill

All in all, the Nets get a great return for all of their tradable assets. A ton of draft capital and no bad long term money. They can clear out roster spots with no problem, and their rebuild potentially could take shorter than expected with Simmons coming off the books after 2025, and all the picks they have to their team.

Next moves: Waive Richaun Holmes, Chris Paul, Davis Bertans, Jock Landale

See what guys like Cam Thomas, Day’Ron Sharpe, Micic, Grant Will, etc can do. Maybe Williams and Tate eventually turn into possible trade assets. Either way, this sounds like a solid idea.

Lmk your thoughts on these trades
