Why the Texans do this: They aquire some serious draft capital along with a quarterback who is a proven winner and a LB who, when he puts in the effort, can be one of the best in the game. Matt Ryan also can be used as a place holder until next year’s draft as this year’s QB class can be seen as weak.

Why the Falcons do this: Do I really have to explain? They aquire their QB of the future to fit alongside pieces like Kyle Pitts and hypothetically Drake London. They also get off Matt Ryan and Deion Jones’s massive contracts.

Why Deshaun Watson does this: As you all probably know by now, Deshaun Watson has a no trade clause, meaning he can decline any trade he wants and essential go wherever he wants to go. I’m not sure if you guys knew this, but Watson grew up a Falcons fan and was even a ball boy for them. He is on great terms with owner Arthur Blank, and there have been reports saying that the meeting went extremely well.
