BRK In recent years, we have seen the importance of being able to make adjustments in a playoff series. This has been highlighted in the bubble this year where one team that seemingly looks dominant becomes completely flustered against a new defense or offense. The Brooklyn Nets as built will run into this issue in the postseason when they are unable to stretch their floor with Allen/Jordan playing the 5. They will need to have a 5 who can shoot in order to counter the switch heavy defenses that teams like Miami, Boston and more teams are playing. This is where Kevin Love comes in to provide them the option of playing a stretch 5 when this is more important than Allen's rim protection on defense. The team gives up the talented Levert only because his impact will be greatly reduced when Kyrie and KD are back on the team.

CLE Levert is the best player in this trade as I believe he is capable of being a solid #2 option with a small chance to even improve to a #1 option. The reality is there are only a couple of teams that would take on Love's contract and if you get a player of Levert's caliber, you accept immediately. While this move is not franchise changing, perhaps Levert and Sexton can form a core for Cleveland to build on in the upcoming years. Jordan can be moved to a 3rd team or bought out. Kurucs is a throw in that has fallen out with Brooklyn's staff but may have some redeemable valuable.
