They are giving up a young player but they are making a finals push. They are giving up a pick that will be a bad pick and Lowry is expiring. The Raptors get something for an expiring contract. They free up space for FVV, get a decent young player in Thybulle and get a pick. The Raptors could still contend for at least the play in game.
