THIS ONLY HAPPENS IF THE RAPTORS ARE GOING TO COMPLETLY REBUILD, WHICH THEY SHOULD BECAUSE THERE NOT A THREAT. WITH NO LOWRY, TRADED POWELL FOR TRENT, THEY AREN'T A THREAT. THEY HAVE A FEW GOOD PIECES, SO WHY NOT REBUILD? THIS TRADE DOES THAT FOR THEM. THIS IS WHY EACH TEAM DOES IT.
MAVS: THE MAVRICKES GIVE A PROTECTED PICK, POWELL, GREEN AND BURKE. THEY NEED defense, and this does it for them. By getting Brooks, Richardson would be getting help, and Brooks is a high volume shooter anyways and while Porzingis is out, that is good for the Mavs.
Grizzlies: The Grizzlies might be giving up 1 first too much, but I still think it makes sense for them because Vanvleet is very good, and would help with their defense while being a better fit for Ja Morant to maybe let him play off the ball more. Although they give up a lot, Vanvleet is a near all NBA defender, which would be good next to Morant and Jaren Jackson.
Raptors: The Raptors would be getting 3-4 first, along with Powell, Burke and Green. This move allows them to reset, and get more picks.
Knicks: Tyus Jones is an underrated backup point guard, and along with a second is easily worth a first, the second probably isn't even needed.
