Why the Spurs do it - Youth and athleticism while still staying competitive. Gordon and Fournier are good wings and they get the #2 pick for parting with their stars. Moving Murray allows White and other young guards more playing time. Spurs should take Wiseman at #2.

Why the Warriors do it - Financial flexibility and playoff experienced big in Aldridge. Giving up the #2 pick is a lot, but getting off of Wiggins contract while acquiring an All Star caliber big in Aldridge is very good as well. Aldridge isn't young, but the Warriors window isn't getting any more open and they need to strike while the iron is still hot.

Why the Magic do it - Getting a strong wing presence has been needed in Orlando for years, Wiggins certainly provides a punch and is still only 25. His contract is bad,but he has potential and so does Dejounte Murray. This move also gives Isaac to develop more when he gets back as Gordon wont be taking minutes. Getting a protected pick from Atlanta sweetens the pot for taking in Wiggins' deal. Hopefully with DeRozans addition, Atlanta will get out of the top ten and Orlando will get a teens or 20s first round pick.

Why Atlanta does it - Atlanta adds a really experienced veteran in DeRozan without compromising any future cap space. DeRozan could definitely help develop Hunter and Reddish on the wing and provide a major locker room presence as well as his scoring.
