So the Raptors are turning things around, but they could use some more reliable talent off the bench. Enter Burks. He is having a good year with the Knicks and would be a great addition to the lineup. He would be the backup for Lowry at SG and he would help out on the bench. They also get a young PG, who has been a disappointment so far in his career and could use a change of scenery. The Raptors give up Stanley Johnson who they don’t use much anymore after the emergence of Bembry and Yuta, Terrence Davis, who is another player that could use a change of scenery, Patrick Mcaw, who is just salary filler, and two second round picks. This, I think, is fair value to give up for these two players.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the Knicks are actually good this year. They have recently acquired Derrick Rose, so now they have a few too many PGs. This trade helps with that, as they send out Frank Ntilkina, a PG who hasn’t been good for them in his career. They also send out Alec Burks, who has had a good year and his value is higher than normal. This would be good return. They get a young SG/SF in Terrence Davis who would bring shooting to the team, Stanley Johnson, a young wing who has played well this year on defence, Patrick Mcaw, who is just salary filler, and 2 second round picks. This would be good value for what they are sending out I think. They make their bench deeper and this could help them if they are in a position to make the playoffs at the end of the year.
